Public Emergency Planning Meetings

JCEMHS believes that, to be effective, emergency response planning must be directly linked to the risks and needs of the community it serves. While a great deal of data collection and analysis has taken place to better understand the risks and needs of Johnson County, additional work is needed to ensure our community-wide disaster planning is as accurate and comprehensive as it needs to be. As such, JCEMHS would like to encourage Johnson County citizens to become involved with the planning process.
JCEMHS will be holding Public Emergency Planning Meetings every three months throughout the duration of the County Emergency Operations Plan (CEOP) update. Each meeting will consist of an overview of the current status of the planning update process, a review of any significant changes to the CEOP, and an open discussion regarding any emergency planning issues participants would like to discuss.
If you are interested in participating in the Public Emergency Planning meetings please fill out the form below. Currently, the dates and locations of the meetings have not been established. If you fill out the form below we will be sure to contact you as soon as additional information about the meetings is available.
